Betty Jean (Irby) Henderson

Decatur ~ Betty Jean Henderson, 72, went to be with our Lord Sunday, August 9, 2020.

Betty was born March 3, 1948 to Herbert Eugene and Elanor (Johnson) Irby in Cleveland, Mississippi. She was united in marriage to Jimmy S. Henderson and Betty was a retired waitress.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Elanor Irby; her husband, Jimmy Henderson; her brother; her sister and her son.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, James Mayfield of Wills Point; her granddaughters, Jamie Lee Mayfield of Decatur and Jeana Lynn Mayfield of Hawaii; her great-granddaughters, Julianne Mitchell and Kelsey Graham; her brothers, Bobby and Frank Irby; her sister, Hetty Irby; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
