BRIDGEPORT -- Betty Joyce Holley, 68, a homemaker and co-founder of Bridgeport Tank Trucks, died Tuesday, Sept. 19, 2006 in Decatur. Funeral: 2 p.m. Thursday at First Baptist Church, Cottondale. Burial: Boonsville Cemetery. Mrs. Holley was born Nov. 1, 1937 in Abilene to Claude and Ruby Pike Niblett. She married Lawrence Holley June 8, 1955 in Bridgeport. In 1975 together they founded Bridgeport Tank Trucks. Betty was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Gene Niblett and sister, Claudine (Tommye) Foreman. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Cottondale and the Bridgeport Civic Club. Survivors: Husband of 51 years, Lawrence Holley of Bridgeport; daughter, Jan Holley Cook and husband, Leslie of Bridgeport; sons, David L. Holley and wife, Rhonda, Ronald W. Holley and wife, Millie and Randal S. Holley and wife, Gale all of Bridgeport; grandchildren, Brian, Brad, Jason, Kristen, Casey, Michelene, Michelle, Sommer, Rider, Kenneth and Michael; great-grandchildren, Cole, Kyler, Kalista, Kalliope, Tanner, Courtland and Tim; and sisters, Inez White, Lorene Gentry, Imogene Gentry and Edna Wood.
