Dallas ~ Betty Hale McAfee, 82, went to be with her Lord Monday, December 9, 2013 in Mansfield.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Saturday, December 14, 2013 at Oak Crest Baptist Church, 1701 S. 5th Street, Midlothian, Texas with burial in East Bridgeport Cemetery in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday December 13th at the church.
Pastor Blain Craig will officiate.
Betty was born in Russett, Oklahoma on April 20, 1931 to Benjamin Early and Kathleen Belle (Stoddard) Hale. She was united in marriage to John C. McAfee on January 20, 1961 in Dallas. Betty was a retired legal secretary.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, John C. McAfee; six siblings: Nora Marie, Oscar Lewis, Ouida Ann, Jesse Durward, Aubrey Dean and Ken Maynard.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Deborah Ford and husband Jay of Fort Worth; her sons, L. Christopher Beck of Dallas and Kyle McAfee and wife Renay of Midlothian; her grandchildren, Andrew, Brandon, Justin, and Kyleigh; her great grandchildren, Chasady, Cayden, and Jaxson; her sister, Jeanie Harvey and husband Fred of Waxahachie; other family members and a host of friends.
