Betty Jo Pendergrass

Bridgeport ~ Betty Jo Pendergrass, 74, went to be with our Lord Friday, August 31, 2018 in Fort Worth.

Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 7, 2018 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Buffalo Cemetery in Sayre, Oklahoma. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Fred Raney will officiate.

Betty Jo was born on September 14, 1943 to Woodrow and Mildred (Wallace) Myers in Woodard, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Tommy Pendergrass on September 27, 2009 in Bridgeport. She was a member of the Cuba Baptist Church in Bridgeport.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lou Zalman.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Tommy Pendergrass of Bridgeport; her son, Carl Pendergrass of Paradise; her grandchildren, Caitlynn Giles and Michael of Haslet, Garrett Pendergrass of Fort Worth and Dalton Pendergrass of Paradise; her great grandchildren, Adison Giles and Claire Giles; her brothers, Harold Myers and Bonnie of Sayre, Oklahoma and Gary Myers of Abbott; her sisters, Pat Lee and husband Allen of Lorena and Gwen Myers; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
