AZLE -- Betty Lou Perkins, 81, a homemaker of Azle went to be with our Lord on Friday ,October 9 2009 in Fort Worth.

Funeral: 3 p.m. Sunday at Christian-Hawkins Chapel. Burial: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 1:30 - 3 p.m. Sunday. Reception: 5 p.m. Sunday at the Fort Worth Anglers Club on Eagle Mountain Lake. Rev.Mark Autry will officiate. Pallbearers: Gary Brock, Bob Brummett, Roy Stell, Jackie Cooper, James Parviettie, and Shorty Miller.

Betty Lou Perkins was born on June 7, 1928, the daughter of George and Eva M. (Clark) Leader, in Everett, Pennsylvania. She married Millard Perkins on August 13, 1949 in Fort Worth, Texas. Betty was a member of the Briar Baptist Church and the Fort Worth Angler's Club.

Those left behind to cherish her memory: husband of 60 years, Millard Perkins of Azle; daughter, Gwendolyn Oliver and husband Billy of Granbury;

sons, Roderick Perkins of Ft. Lauderdale, Florida, and Clifford Perkins of Fort Worth;

granddaughter, Chelsea Oliver;

numerous brothers, sisters, nieces, and nephews; and a host of friends.
