Azle ~ Betty Mae Robinson, 81, a homemaker went to be with our Lord Thursday, April 5, 2012 in Weatherford.

Funeral is 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 11th at U-Turn Ministries Church in Boyd with burial in Jaybird Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Pastor Kevin Alexander will officiate. Pallbearers are Jason Alexander, Michael Alexander, Coty Alexander, Tyler Alexander, Cory Phillips and Greg Compton.

Betty was born on March 18, 1931 to Homer and Betty (Garner) Compton in Waxahachie, Texas. She was united in marriage to William H. Robinson on February 9, 1968 in Fort Worth, Texas.

Betty was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; her brothers, JR and Billy Compton; her sisters, Bonnie Davis and Merle Dawson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Lawrence Alexander and wife Darla of Azle; her daughters, Debbie Alexander of Azle and Loretta Caso of Springtown; her grandchildren, Jason, Michael, Lisa, Joni, Kelly and husband Cory and Coty; her great grandchildren, Tyler, Jake, Emily and Hayden; her brothers, Herman Compton and wife Helen of Waxahachie, Doyle Compton and wife Mary of Denton, Robert Compton and wife Geneva of Waxahachie and Eugene Compton and wife Marion of Southlake; her sisters, Wanda Howard of Fort Worth and Ludean Green of Waxahachie; other family members and a host of friends.
