NORTH RICHLAND HILLS -- Betty Parr Sands, 80, a much loved mother, grandmother, and friend went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at her home with her family at her side.
Graveside Memorial: 11 a.m. Wednesday, September 5, 2007. Burial: Alvord Cemetery. Officiating: Rev. Bill Cleveland.
Betty was born on July 13, 1927 in Denton County, Texas to Lloyd and Susie Jenette (Priddy) Wolfe. She married Lloyd David Sands on May 13, 1954 in Alvord, Texas.
Betty was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her sister, Lois Harbruck.
Survivors: daughters, Susan Janette Sands of North Richland Hills, Lisa Wolfe of Benbrook; sons, Hal Sands and wife Annette of Gulfport, Miss., David Sands of North Richland Hills; grandchildren, Hal, Jr. and Samantha Sands, Lindsey and Jennifer Wolfe; sister, Johnnie Lee of Odessa; brothers, Chris Parr of Knoxville, Tn., Luther Parr of Oklahoma City, Jimmy Parr of New Iberia, La.; numerous nieces and nephews.
