Bridgeport: Betty Gotcher-Bolin Smith, 73, a retired home health nurse, went to be with our Lord, Friday, May 4, 2012 in Bridgeport.
Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 9th at the First Baptist Church of Decatur, with Reverend Ken May officiating. Interment: Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Pallbearers include Ricky Branscum, Jamie Branscum, Zach Hoskins, Cody Smith, Ryder Branscum, and Anthony Smith.
Betty was born on September 24, 1938 in Decatur to Jessie and Ruth (Foster) Gotcher.
Left behind to cherish her memory are 3 daughters, Cindy Branscum and husband Richard of Bridgeport, Debbie Hoskins and husband Rex of Decatur, and Tammy Smith of Bridgeport; 2 sons, Brent Bolin and Stacie Haynes, and Randy Smith and wife Mary, all of Bridgeport; 13 grandchildren, Ricky, Jamie, Ryder, Brandon, Lacey, Zach, Chloe, Silver, Cody, Anthony, Chelsea, Ruben, and Miranda; 7 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Maxine Walker, Joyce McDaniel, and Dorothy Childers.
