Betty Ruth Watson

Decatur ~ Betty Ruth Watson, 93, a homemaker went to be with our Lord Friday, December 13, 2019 in Decatur.

Graveside is 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 18, 2019 at Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rev. Kenny Cates will officiate.

Betty was born on June 27, 1926 to Robert and Bernice Ruth (Moore) Fennell in Wauricka, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage to Charles Robert Watson on July 19, 1944 in North Carolina. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by daughter, Judy Charlene Watson.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are daughters, Peggy Owens and husband David of Decatur, and Terre Eubanks of Fort Worth; her sons, Jack Watson, and wife Marion and Bob Watson and wife Julie of Pflugerville; her 12 grandchildren; and her 22 great-grandchildren; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
