Betty York

Decatur ~ Betty Jean York, 66, went to be with our Lord Monday, December 2, 2019 in Dallas, Texas.

Betty was born on May 30, 1953 to Derwood M. and Frankie Rose (Hamilton) Hatch in Damariscotta, Maine. She was united in marriage to Ricky Joe Stanley on October 20, 2018. She was a retired Cosmetologist.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Don York; and sister, Merna Hatch.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband, Rick Stanley of Decatur; her daughters, Jada Young and husband Kris of Decatur, Kelley Heath and husband Ricky, and Carla Smith both of Colorado Springs; her son, Brad Sewall and wife Andrea of Cortland Manor, New York; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; her brother, Harland Hatch of Maine; numerous extended family and a host of friends.
