Bettye Joyce (Geron) Mckay

Burleson ~ Bettye Joyce McKay, 84, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Saturday, April 23, 2016 in Burleson.
Graveside service is 1100 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at Geron Family Cemetery in Decatur with Dwight Trotter officiating. Family will receive friends 6:00-7:00 p.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Bettye was born on March 20, 1932 to Charles and Willie (Gentry) Geron in Bairdstown, Texas. She was united in marriage to Frank R. McKay on October 8, 1965 in Fort Worth.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 50 years, Frank R. McKay of Burleson; her goddaughter, Ivana Leal of Burleson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
