Alvord ~ William “Bill” Foreman, 83, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 5, 2016 in Alvord.
Memorial service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2016, at Alvord Church of Christ in Alvord, Texas. Family will receive friends 1-2 p.m. Saturday at Alvord Church of Christ. Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home is handling the services.
Bro. Chester Cullum and his grandsons, Chas Foreman, Jason Hess, and Nathan Hess will officiate.
Bill was born on April 1, 1932 to David and Theresa (Gutcher) Foreman in Baltimore, Maryland. He was united in marriage to Virginia Smith on December 24, 1952 in Lubbock, Texas. Bill joined the U.S. Air Force at 17 years old and he served his country and retired after 22 years of service.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Trudy Barnes.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 63 years, Virginia Foreman of Alvord; his daughters, Sharon Driskill and husband Wesley of Alvord, Vicki King and husband Mike of Alvord, and Debra Hess and husband Alan of Corinth; his son, Larry Foreman and wife Bonnie of Alvord; 9 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 1 great great grandchildren; and a host of friends.
Memorials can be made to a Veterans Organization of your choice.
