Memorial service is 5 p.m. Saturday, August 20th at the First Baptist Church of Alvord with Reverend Bill Cleveland officiating.
Bill was born August 18, 1940 in Elk City, Oklahoma to John William and Willie (Penn) Harden. He served in the U.S. Army. Bill was deacon at the First Baptist Church of Alvord and was a volunteer at The Hills Nursing & Rehabilitation in Decatur.
Left behind to cherish his memory are two daughters, Lisa Gayle Rivera and husband, Joe of Denton, Kimmie Schneider of Giddings, Texas; two sons, William Harden, Jr. and wife, Melanie of Corinth, Jerry Allen Harden and wife, Tess of Denton; nine grandchildren; 1 great grandchild; brother, Gale Harden and wife, Phyllis of Pampa; nephew and a host of friends.
Bill is preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Randall Harden.
