Paradise ~ Billy “Bill” Wilson, 72, a retired installer for Overhead Door Company, went to be with our Lord Friday, April 11, 2014 in Decatur.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, April 16, 2014 at The Church of God in Boyd with burial in Boyd Cemetery . Family will receive friends 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Steven Bernard will officiate. Pallbearers include Matt Coney, Timothy Hunt, Mark Wilson, Devon Wilson, Woody Posey and Billy Jones.
Bill was born November 17, 1941 to Jasper and Viola (Smith) Wilson in Boyd. He was united in marriage to Frances Elizabeth Tuggle on January 9, 1981 in Fort Worth . Bill was a member of The Church of God.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 33 years, Elizabeth Wilson of Paradise; his sons, Billy Eugene Wilson and wife Melody of Springtown, Jimmy Wilson and wife Tracey of Fort Worth and Tony Jones and wife Sandra of Fort Worth; 11 grandchildren; several great grandchildren; his brothers, David Wilson and wife Cynthia of Paradise, Don Wilson and wife Phyllis of Azle and Ronnie Wilson and wife Janet of Paradise; his sister, Rose Grantham and husband Travis of Boonsville; other family members and a host of friends.
