Bill Winn

BRIDGEPORT -- Bill Winn, 77, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, in Bridgeport. Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday at Balsora Baptist Church. Burial: Thomas Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday. Rev. Glenn Connell will officiate, assisted by Rev. Sonny Smith. Pallbearers: Charlie Winn, Buster Winn, Beau Winn, Gary Houchins, Eddy Houchins, and Steve Forester.

Bill was born on August 30, 1930, the son of Charlie and Nannie Ola (Collins) Winn in Bridgeport. He was a farmer and a superintendent at Mitchell Energy. Bill was a member of the Balsora Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Jim and C.J. Winn.

Left behind to cherish his memory is: his wife of 54 years, Anna Jo Winn of Bridgeport; son, Bill Joe Winn of Bridgeport; daughters, Regina Winn of Bridgeport, Rodna Urban of Aledo; grandchildren, Jasper Winn and wife Dana, Bailey Urban; great grandchildren, Kegan, Anna, Pake; brothers, Vern Winn of Weatherford, Tommy Winn and wife Dianne of Cedar Hill; sister, Faye Cormier and husband Howard of Bridgeport..
