Billie Kathryn (Stickler) Dunn

Decatur ~ Billie Kathryn Dunn, 87, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, February 22, 2023.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Bethel Cemetery. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Fred Raney and Jack Watson will officiate. Pallbearers include Paul Watson, Monty Shawn, Jayce Watson, V Barnard, Brandon Dunn, and Ben Waddill.

Billie was born February 6, 1936 to V.E and Beatrice (Hale) Stickler in Holdenville, Oklahoma. She was united in marriage May 16, 1954 to Johnnie Willard Dunn in Bridgeport, Texas, married 54 years before his passing in 2008. Billie was a retired medical assistant in the health industry for many years. She was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, V.E. and Beatrice Stickler; her husband, Johnnie Willard Dunn; a son, Johnnie W. Dunn, Jr.; 2 sisters, Linda Ransom, and Patsy Brown.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her son, Bryant Dunn and wife Cindy of Frisco; her daughter, Belinda Dunn of Decatur; a grandson, Brandon Dunn of Frisco; her sister, Connie Shawn; a brother, Leonard Stickler; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
