Funeral service is 2 p.m. Thursday, August 21, 2008 at the First Baptist Church of Decatur with Reverend Ken May officiating. Family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. prior to the service at the First Baptist Church.

Pallbearers are Graham Eudey, Jeremy Smith, Guy Turner, Tony Vincent, Rob Harris, Paul Gathings and Josh Mount.

Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery in Pampa, Texas at 10 a.m. Saturday, August 23rd. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Friday, August 22nd at the Carmichael-Whatley Funeral Home in Pampa, Texas.

Billie was born January 8, 1931 in Wheeler County, Texas to D. T. and Teba (McCathern) Pfeil. She was a volunteer for the Wise Regional Health System Auxiliary and a member of the First Baptist Church of Decatur.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her daughters, Jan O'Neal and husband, Mike of Hobbs, New Mexico, Guyla Eudey and husband, Charles of Bowie, Texas, Pam Turner and husband Randy of Aurora; 10 grandchildren, Jeremy Smith, Jami Mount, Graham Eudey, Erin Harris, Carrie Vincent, Sally Gathings, Guy Turner, Monty O'Neal, Kyle O'Neal, Trent O'Neal; sister DeLena Young and husband, Dean of Fort Towson, Oklahoma; 10 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends.

Billie is preceded in death by her husband, parents and sister, Barbara Ring.

The family has requested that memorials be made to the Billie James Scholarship Fund in care of the First Baptist Church of Decatur, Adult 6 Department, 1200 W. Preskitt Road, Decatur, Texas 76234.
