Billie Jones, Jr

Funeral service is 10 a.m. Thursday at the Coker-Hawkins Chapel in Decatur. Graveside service is 4 p.m. at Bennett Cemetery in Groveton, Texas. Rick Ross and Josh Ross will officiate. Participating are Cecil Hutson, Jr., Hutt Hutson, David Bizaillion and Jonathan Ross. Family will receive friends from 5:30 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers are Craig Jordan, Eric Vincent, Mark Duncum, Jacob Baker, Jason Mitschke and Kevin Wood. Honorary pallbearers are Joe McKay, John Hocking, John Ince, John Hinson and O.C. Cardenas.

Pallbearers for graveside are Ted Hemness, James Due, Joshua Ross, Jonathan Ross, Hutt Hutson, and David Bizaillion.

Billie was born August 27, 1927 in Trinity County, Texas, to Billie and Kattie Lester Jones. He served in the U.S. Army in Korea. Billie married Bobbie Jean Hall on December 11, 1949, and was secretary/treasurer of OCAW local union in Texas City. He was faithful to his God and church and served as elder in several churches.

Left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 58 years, Bobbie Jones; daughters, Beverly Ross and husband, Rick of Decatur and Barbi Hutson and husband, Cecil of Mesquite; grandchildren, Jenny Bizaillion and husband, David, Joshua Ross and wife, Kayci, Jonathan Ross and wife, Jennifer, Tiffany Hutson and husband, Hutt, and Tabitha Hutson; 3 great grandchildren, Malaya Bizaillian, Jed Ross and Truitt Ross; and sister, Molina Parker of Texas.
