Billie Mae (Morton) Brown

In Loving Memory, Billie Mae Brown, 85, went to be with the Lord Friday, August 19, 2022 in Chico, Texas with her family by her side.

Graveside Service is 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Sweetwater Cemetery, 112-198 CR 23115, Decatur, Texas, 5 miles east on Hwy 380.

Louis Horton will officiate.

Billie was born June 12, 1937 in Wise County, Texas to William (Bill) and Dollie Morton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting, crafting, and playing bingo. Billie Mae married Leroy Brown on April 4, 1953, and had five children: Barbara, Leroy, Angela, Linda, and Cynthia. She was married for 44 years before her husband’s death.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leroy Brown, Sr. and her parents, William and Dollie Morton.

Billie Mae is survived by her children, Barbara Smith and James, Leroy Brown, Jr. and Pamela, Angela Goff and Bobby, Linda Evans and Mike, and Cynthia Galbraith and Bret as well as 12 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
