Billie Maudine Presley

Boyd -Maudine Presley, 85, passed away Sunday October 8, 2023, in Decatur.

Funeral is 1:00 PM Wednesday, October 11, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd with burial at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.

Chaplain is Leonard Don. Pallbearers include Mike Bennett, Steve Bennett, Zach Burgess, Tony Manning, Hudson Riggs and Calvin Petersen.

Maudine was born in Boyd, Texas, September 20,1938 to Felix and Mattie (Smith) Cash. She met Charles, the love of her life and, they married April 16, 1955 in Waurika, Oklahoma. They remained married until his passing in 2004. She enjoyed quilting and embroidering when she was not spending time with her 3 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Maudine was a beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

Maudine was preceded in death by her parents, Felix and Mattie Cash; husband, Charles; son, Chuck Presley; brother, James Cash; 2 sisters, Gladys Rickman and Jolene Franklin. She is survived by her daughter, Charlene Wilson and husband Blane of Boyd; 3 grandchildren, Casie Manning and husband Tony of Boyd, Brittany Wilson of Boyd and Tuesday Burgess and husband Zach of Austin. 4 great grandchildren, Reese, Hudson, Brooke and Peyton; Brother Winford Cash; sister, Nelda Bennett; numerous extended family members and a host of friends
