Decatur ~ Billie Gene Stutts, 89, went to be with our Lord Saturday, August 1, 2020.

Bill was born August 14, 1930 to J.D. and Dera (Boggan) Stutts in Milam. He grew up in Houston and was a 1955 graduate of the University of Houston. Bill played the piano and organ for many years at the First United Methodist Church of Houston. He was a retired U.S. Postal Service, Bill logged many miles walking his routes in Houston, and really didn’t care much for dogs as a result. His final years were spent in Decatur with the loving and caring staff at The Hills Nursing and Rehab.
He was preceded in death by his parents; 2 sisters, Sue Kuykendall and Joyce Blau.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his sister, Judy Stutts-Davis of Austin; his nieces, Ginger Flynt of Decatur, and Brenda Spence of Bellville; his nephews, T. Jay Kuykendall of Decatur, Pepper Kuykendall of Midlothian, Kurt Blau of Houston, and Matt Stutts-Davis of Austin; extended family and a host of friends.
