Billy C. Admire

Funeral is 2 p.m. Monday, December 12, 2011 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel in Bridgeport with burial in West Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Dr. David Burrows will officiate. Pallbearers are Ron Womack, Lonnie Hobbs, Jimmy Kay, David Puckett, Landon Puckett, and Billy Cook.

Billy was born on August 25, 1933 to Clarence and Audri (King) Admire in Bridgeport. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Billy was united in marriage to Elizabeth Hicks on June 28, 1958 in Bridgeport. He was a tool pusher at MND Drilling. Billy also worked the farm that has been in the family for 140 years. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Bridgeport and a mason for 50 years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Michael Anthony (Tony) Pearce; his sister, JoAnn Admire; and his brother, Robert C. Admire.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 53 years, Liz Nell Admire of Bridgeport; his daughters, Kelli Cook of Bridgeport, Vanessa Pearce and husband Michael of Chico, and Kimberly Ann Roe of Bridgeport; his five grandchildren, Landon, Ashley, Billy, Marissa, and Felisha; his nine great grandchildren, William, Byron, Aiden, Amy, Hannah, Jasper, Haley, McKenzi, and Brayden; his sisters, Rosetta Richards of Arlington, Lola Neil of Benbrook, and Helen Fisher of Arkansas; other family members and a host of friends.
