Billy Charles Caldwell

Bridgeport~ Billy Charles Caldwell, 92, went to be with our Lord on Monday, August 10, 2020 in Bridgeport.

Graveside will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, August 15, 2020 at Bethel Cemetery in Decatur. Open Visitation will be held 12-5 p.m. and family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Sid Chatterjee will officiate. Pallbearers will include Mike Luckie, Tommy Wilkerson, Daniel Fowler, Dale George, Grant George,  J.T. Capps, Glenn Caldwell and Larry Caldwell.

Billy was born May 26, 1928 to Whit and Jewell (Wallace) Caldwell in Chico, Texas. He was retired from Hanson Aggregate in Chico.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Liz Skaggs Caldwell; his second wife, Marcy Pearce Caldwell; his grandson, Tim Fowler; and his brother, James Caldwell.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughter, Maggie Fowler and husband Neal of Arlington; his grandson, B.J. Fowler and wife Sandra of Arlington; 5 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members and a host of friends.
