Funeral: 10:00 a.m. Tuesday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Chapel with burial in Woodberry Forest Cemetery in Madill, Oklahoma at 3:00 p.m.. Family will receive friends 9 a.m. Tuesday, before the funeral.
Reverend's Ken May and Dan Hunt to officiate.
Pallbearers: Grant Chaney, Brandon Chaney, John Amlin, Todd Trennepohl, Jeb Skiles, Jake Franke, Nelson Beville, and Bryan James Goodger.

Ralph was born August 14, 1917 to Theopolis Arthur and Fay Parrish Chaney in Madill, Oklahoma. He married Betty Jean Hudson on November 26, 1971 in Decatur, Texas. Ralph proudly served in the 82nd Navy Seabees from 1943 to 1945. He worked in oilfield business sales from 1953 to 1969, but later retired from the Texas Department of Transportation. He was a member of the First Baptist Church in Decatur.
Left behind to cherish his memory is his wife of 38 years, Betty Chaney of Decatur; daughter, Terri Merveldt and husband Kent of Mead, Oklahoma; son, Ralph G. Chaney and wife Shirley of Gordonville, Texas; stepdaughter, Camille Beville and husband Robert of Hereford, Texas; stepson, Brent Goodger and wife Micki of Lockhart, Texas; 9 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandson; brother, James Chaney of Madill, Oklahoma; sister-in-law, Fay Chaney of Elmore City, Oklahoma; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
He is preceded in death by his parents; 2 brothers, J.A. and Tommy Chaney; 2 sisters, Marie Lynn and JoAnn Chaney.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Decatur, Building Fund.
