Billy Frances Murphy Marlett

Funeral is 2 p.m. Sunday, May 20th at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Cottondale Cemetery. Family will receive friends 4-6 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Rev. David Rucker will officiate. Pallbearers include Trent Murphy, Ryan Murphy, Mike Hartsell, Jackie George, Paul Murphy and Tommy Bridges.

Billy was born on April 25, 1946 to William and Estelle (Bridges) Murphy in Cottondale. She was united in marriage to Larry Wayne Marlett on July 16, 1964 in Paradise. Billy was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Paradise.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 48 years, Larry Marlett of Bridgeport; her son, Kerry Marlett of Paradise; her daughter, Brenda Marlett of Azle; her sister, Eunice Pewitt and husband Olan of Paradise; her brother, Joe Murphy of Bridgeport; a large extended family and a host of friends.
