BOYD -- Billy Park, 77, AKA Daddy Bill to the TMFC Racing Team, went to be with our Lord on Monday, Dec. 21, 2009 in Dallas.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday at Trinity Baptist Church in Boyd. Interment: Boyd Cemetery. Visitation: 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the church before the service. Rev. John Stocks will officiate. Pallbearers will be David Pool, Clifton Pool, Tim Rutledge, Rusty Harpole, Kent Hardcastle, Mark Tyler, David Peck, and Larry Peck, Jr.
Billy was born on October 14, 1932, in Quanah, Texas, the son of Grover and Helen (Wheeler) Park. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He married Freddie (Tyler) Park on June 13, 1953 in Vernon. Billy was the owner of Park Glass and Glazing,
Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Grover and Helen; his wife, Freddie; brother, Leo Park; sisters, Geneva Largent, and Vivian Kelley.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are: his daughters, Rhonda Tyler of Kaufman, Brenda Fowler and husband Paul of West Point, Mississippi, Billy Walker and husband Micky of Carrollton, Senita Peck and husband Larry of Dallas; grandchildren: David, Jerry, Michael, Nolita, Larry, Ashley, Michael, Jr., and Heather; great grandchildren: Devon, Dustin, Cheyenne, Kyle, Brandon, Makayla, Adam, and Ridge; sisters, Jo Ann Thurman of Electra, Gearldine Burkhart of Electra, Mary Brashears of Vernon; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.
