Sunset ~ Billy Joe Phelps, 48, a heavy equipment operator went to be with our Lord Wednesday, April 11, 2011 in Sunset.
Funeral is 2 p.m. Saturday, April 14, 2012 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with private burial. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to service.
Rev. Terry Young will officiate.
Billy was born on September 21, 1963 to Quinton and Betty Jo (Stephenson) Phelps in Lake Worth, Texas. He was united in marriage to Deborah Swanberg on June 1, 2002 in Saginaw, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Deborah Phelps of Sunset; his daughters, Whitney Phelps Guerrero and husband Jose of Bowie and Amanda Lynn Craig of Arlington; his grandchildren, Celeste, Brooke and Payton; his mother, Betty Jo Phelps of Saginaw; his brother, Neal Phelps and wife Christi of Springtown; other family members and a host of friends.

The Class of 82, Boswell High School, sends our condolences to the Phelps family. Our childhood/school years are not complete without Billy in them and we will remember him fondly.
