Billy Ray Schooling

Alvord ~ Billy Ray Schooling, 82, an owner and operator of Schooling LP. Gas , went to be with our Lord Thursday, March 10, 2016 in Alvord.

Graveside is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, March 12, 2016 at Bethel Cemetery . Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Rev. Kevin Moore will officiate. Pallbearers include Sean Schooling, Matthew Schooling, William Schooling, Jonathan Fennell, Brandon Deweese, Shaun Thomison, Raymond Farrell, Melvin Farrell, Herchell Schooling, G.A. Buckner, Stephen Alexander, and Glenn Gage.

Billy was born on August 19, 1933 to Fred and Annie (Underhill) Schooling in Roanoke, Texas. He was united in marriage to Margaret Ann McDonald on August 17, 1951 in Keller until her passing. Billy was in the propane gas business for over sixty years. He was owner and operator of Schooling, LP Gas for eight years.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Margaret Schooling; his son, Gary Schooling; his daughter, Brenda Fennell; his son, Gary Edmond Schooling.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his daughters, Marsha Roblez of Durant, Oklahoma, Paula Talley of Denison, Texas, and Julie Schooling of Decatur; his brother, Lewis Paul Schooling and wife Patsy of Roanoke; his sister, Linda Rubio and husband Jesse of Cleburne, Texas; his son-in-law, Carl Fennell of Alvord; 15 grandchildren; 12 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
