Lake Bridgeport ~ Billy "Bedbug" Watkins, 79, a retired truck driver, went to be with our Lord Monday, April 4, 2011 in Bridgeport.
Graveside service is 1 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2011 at East Bridgeport Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home.

Billy was born on April 23, 1931 to Claude and Zora (Bowen) Watkins in Walters, Oklahoma. He served his country in the U S Air Force. Billy married Eva B. Bogart on October 13, 1961 in Gainesville, Texas. He attended Lake Bridgeport Baptist Church.
Billy was preceded in death by his parents; his grandson, Adam Watkins; and his brothers, Doyle and Willard Watkins.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 49 years, Eva Watkins of Lake Bridgeport; his sons, Billy Watkins of Paradise, Rocky Watkins and wife Karin of Sherman, Joshua Watkins of Denton; his daughter, Tonie Watkins of Irving; his grandchildren, Amanda Madera, Matthew Watkins, Ashley Watkins, and Kari Kate Watkins; his sister, Nadine Rayborn of Weatherford; his great grandchildren, Xander and Dorian Madera; other relatives and a host of friends.
