Birt Molton "Ricky" Wacasey, Iii

Newark ~ Birt Molton “Ricky” Wacasey III, 77, went to be with our Lord Monday, November 22, 2021 in Newark.

Visitation is 5-7 PM Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Birt was born on November 15, 1944 to Birt Molton and Eunice Jacquelin (Cosby) Wacasey II in Fort Worth. He was united in marriage to Sondra Chambers on August 31, 1977 in Fort Worth. Birt proudly served our country in the United States Navy. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and great-grandfather.

He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers; and 4 sisters.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 44 years, Sondra Wacasey; 4 sons, Richie Wacasey, Lee Wacasey and wife Melissa, Brian Wacasey and wife Johnel, and Christopher Wacasey and wife Amber; 19 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; his brother, Junior Baugus and wife Wanda; other relatives and a host of friends.
