BRIDGEPORT -- Bob Bible Sr., 67, who was retired from Lawn Care Service, died Saturday, Dec. 23, 2006, in Decatur. Funeral: 1 p.m. Thursday at Henderson Funeral Home in Santa Anna. Burial: Whon Family Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport. Mr. Bible was preceded in death by his parents, Roy and Mettie Walters Bible; brothers, E.W., Wilburn, I.O., and Thomas Bible; sisters, Doris Harvey, Dimples Looney, Mildred Carter, Lillian Siler and Loraine Shipman. Survivors: Sons, Bobby Bible Jr. of Chico, Robbie Bible and wife, Anna of Bridgeport; daughters, Jeannie King and husband, Mark of Bridgeport, JoAnn Bible of Bridgeport; 16 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren; sisters, Neva Byrd of Odessa and Cassie Bible of DFW; brothers, Billy Bible of Santa Anna and E.J. Bible of San Angelo.
