BOYD -- Bobbie J. Jackson, 73, a homemaker and private duty caregiver, went to be with our Lord Saturday, Nov. 24, 2007, at her home in Boyd.
Funeral: 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, 2007 at Hawkins Funeral Chapel. Officiating: Rev. Jonas Bohlin and Rev. Robin Bohlin. Burial: Aurora Cemetery. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday.
Pallbearers: David Cansler, Bill Cansler, Pete Longton, Kevin Robinson, Allen Mitchell, Todd Webb, Steven Dove, Bill Willard.
Mrs. Jackson was born July 9, 1934 in Menard, TX to Virgil and Ida Lindsey Waldrop. She married Doyle Albert Jackson Dec. 26, 1957 in Ardmore, OK. Bobbie was a member of Fullness in Christ Church in Fort Worth. Preceding her in death were her parents, 2 brothers, Orbray and Billy Wayne Waldrop; sisters, Dorothy Pearson, Virginia McMullen, Francis Waldrop and Juanita Pearl Myers.
Survivors: Her husband of 49 years, Doyle Jackson of Boyd; sons, Ray Jackson of Boyd, Doyle Jackson III and wife, Pam of Fort Worth; daughters, Wanda Rogers of Fort Worth, Linda Gahagan and husband, Scott of Newark; seven grandchildren, Breanna and Brent Elliott, Isaac, Hannah and Sarah Rogers, Sierra Hood Jackson and Lewis Foster; sisters, Frankie Wardlow of Cedar Hill, Lois Waldrop and Doris Spraybary, both of Newark; numerous nieces and nephews.
