Bobbie Lee (Koger) Peyton

Alvord ~ Bobbie Lee (Koger) Peyton, 78, went to be with our Lord Sunday, January 23, 2022.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Thursday, January 27, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with burial at Hopewell Cemetery. Family will receive friends one hour before the service. Open visitation is 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Kerry Clower will officiate. Pallbearers include LeeWayne Barton, Justin Barton, Richard Peyton, Bradley Peyton, Audie Largent, and Clinton Peyton. Honorary pallbearer is Pete Escamilla.

Bobbie was born March 26, 1943 to J.B. and Mamie Loretta (Beeks) Koger in Jacksboro, Texas. She was united in marriage January 10, 1963 to Wayne Peyton in Oklahoma. Bobby was retired after many years in the explosive industry . She was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend to many who will miss her dearly.

She was preceded in death by her parents, J.B. and Mamie Koger, her husband of 46 years, Wayne Peyton; her brother, James Koger.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 2 daughters, Tammy Annette Peyton Barton and husband Dennis of Alvord, and Kimberly Diann Peyton Largent and husband Audie of Springtown; her son, Tony Lynn Peyton and wife Lynne of Alvord; grandchildren, LeeWayne Barton of Alvord, and Justin Barton and wife Amber of Wolfe City who have Bobbie's only great-grandchild, Alan Barton; her brother, Donnie Koger; a sister, Ruth Gormley; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
