Bobbie Ruth Stone

Mrs. Stone was born in Decatur, Texas on October 7, 1931, to Floyd D. Meador and Margaret Elizabeth Caraway. She married H. L. Stone, Jr. on October 14, 1951, in Decatur. Mrs. Stone was employed with Justin Boot & Belt Company for 18 years and retired from there in 1976.

FUNERAL SERVICE: 2:00 p.m., Sunday, December 9, 2007 at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gerre Joiner officiating. Burial will be at Pleasant Grove Cemetery No. 1 in Decatur. Family will receive friends Saturday from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. Sunday at the Coker-Hawkins Chapel.

PALLBEARERS: John T. Lambert, Ricky Meador, Kirk Holland, Dalton Rich, Thad Meador and Donald Wayne Meador.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her brothers, James Meador and wife, Evelyn; Wiley Meador and wife, Suzette; Donald Meador and wife, Barbara; Roy Meador and wife Linda, all of Decatur; sisters, Dorothy Lambert and husband, T.H. of Boyd; Bonnie Holland and husband, Steve, of Decatur, Joyce Rich and husband, Curtis, of Paradise; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Ms. Stone is preceded in death by her husband, H. L. Stone and her sister, Vera Moore.
