Chico ~ Bobbie J. Wiley, 66, a corrections officer, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, January 12, 2016 in Chico.
Funeral is 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 16, 2016 at the Crafton Baptist Church with burial in Crafton Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.
Rev. Tom Merritt will officiate. Pallbearers include Neil Sigsbee, Wesley Sigsbee, B.J. Nerf, Bill Shytle, Leon Moody, and Dale Moody. Honorary pallbearers are James Moody, Jay Throckmorten, and Dustin Bell.
Bobbie was born on December 29, 1949 to Jay N. and Alta Elizabeth (Hodge) Wiley in Bridgeport. She was a member of Chico chapter of The Order of the Eastern Star. Bobbie was a member of the Crafton Baptist Church.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her sons, Mike Shipp and wife Brandy of Madison, Indiana, and John Shipp of Bowie; her grandson, Jackson Ty Shipp; her sister, Illona Sigsbee of Bowie; her nephew, Neil Sigsbee and wife Mary of Denton; her niece, Melissa Bell of Bowie: other family members, and a host of friends.
