Bobby Brooks Caffey

Springtown ~ Bobby Brooks Caffey, 85, went to be with our Lord Friday, July 10, 2020 in Fort Worth.

Graveside service is 10 AM Wednesday at Myrtle Cemetery in Ennis, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 PM Tuesday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.

Rev. Kevin Caffey will officiate. Pallbearers include Jason Caffey, Colton Garrett, Clay Caffey, Justin Caffey, Joe Maxwell, Jimmy Wilkinson, and Derek Wood.

Bobby was born on March 3, 1935 to Ollie and Pearl (Houser) Caffey in Austin, Texas. He was united in marriage to Jo Ann Woods on December 9, 1953 in Rockwall. Bobby was a member of The New Hope Baptist Church in Boyd.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Ann Caffey; grandson, Will Caffey; brother, Ollie Caffey, Jr.; and sister, Frances Garnett.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his 2 sons, Billy Caffey and wife Kari of Springtown, and Jimmy Caffey and wife Connie of Haslet; his daughter, Debbie Garrett and husband Rick of Fort Worth; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; other relatives and a host of friends.
