Bobby Dixon

Paradise ~ Bobby Dixon, 90, went to be with our Lord Wednesday, May 31, 2023 in Abingdon, Virginia.

Memorial Service is 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 17, 2023 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport.

Bobby was born on February 8, 1933 to William C. Dixon and Ruby Carleen (Palmour) Bullock in Abilene. He was united in marriage to Sandra Louise Cooper on February 6, 1984 in Chino, California. Bobby graduated from Sul Ross University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture. He was a Mason for the Felix Lodge No. 29 in Hagerman, New Mexico. Bobby proudly served our country in the United States Marines. He was a beloved husband, father, brother, grandfather, and uncle.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carleen Bullock; and his brother, George Bullock.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife, Sandra Dixon; his daughter, Brenda Wilson and husband Ron; 2 grandsons, Jared and Jason Wilson; 2 brothers, WC Dixon and Melvin Ray Bullock; 4 brother-in-law’s, Jim, Steve, Timothy, and Tommy Cooper; his nephews, Sean Dixon, Cody Dixon, Michael Dixon, Justin Helton, James Helton, and Jason Cooper; his nieces, Nikki Dickson, Candice Kasper, Chelsa Tirre, Hilary Cooper, and Bethany Hurlock; numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
