Bobby Dale Terrell

Decatur ~ Bobby Dale Terrell, 87, went to be with our Lord Sunday, March 28, 2021 in Ft.Worth, Texas.

Funeral Service is 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, March 30, 2021 at First United Methodist Church of Decatur with burial at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Cassie Wade will officiate. Pallbearers include Kent Terrell, Mitch Terrell, Rodney Terrell, Drew Boggs, Don Niblett, and Brent Terrell.

Bobby was born July 11, 1933 to Luther Jerry and Frances Rebecca (Ogle) Terrell in Chico, Texas. He was united in marriage April 23, 1957 to Mildred Barge in Chico, Texas. Bobby proudly served our country in the United States Army. He retired from TXDOT after 28 years in road construction.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Lisa Lynn Terrell; his brothers, Odom, Billy and his twin brother, Jimmy; his sisters, Mary Frances Meek and Dorothy Dean Terrell.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of over 63 years, Mildred “Sis” Terrell of Decatur; his son, Tim Terrell and wife Rayanna of Decatur; his grandsons, Tanner and Jackson Terrell of Decatur; and his sister-in-law, Faye Terrell of Burleson; extended family members and a host of friends.

Memorials can be made in Bobby's name to W.A.R.M. in Decatur.
