NEWARK -- Bobby J. Thompson, an industrial mechanic, went to be with our Lord on Tuesday, June 23, 2009, in Fort Worth. At the age of 51 years and 3 days. Graveside service: 10 a.m. Thursday in Aurora Cemetery. Pastor Brent Nordan will officiate . No set visitation at the funeral home.

He was born the son of Joe William and Barbara Jean (Nell) Thompson in Lubbock on June 20,1958. Bobby served his country proudly by serving in the Navy. Bobby married Donna Lea (Thackerson) on November 24,1993 in Fort Worth,Tx. He was a member of the River Oaks Nazarene Church. Bobby also was a Mason of the Fort Worth Lodge. He was preceded in death by Mother Barbara Jean Thompson

Those left to cherish his memory: Wife of 16 years Donna of Newark. Daughters: Ashley Lauren DeGarmo and husband James of Mena,Ark. Amber Darlene Davis of Fort Worth. Stepson, Lonnie Van Schuyver and wife Doll of Newark. and Stepdaughters, Lenneica Stewart and husband John of Springtown,Kelly Cook of Fort Worth.Tx. Granddaughter : Kaylee Michelle Dusek. 11 Step- Grandchildren 16 Step-Great Grandchildren
