Bridgeport~ Bobby Wayne Bentley, Jr., 67, went to be with our Lord on Thursday, November 24th, 2022 in Bridgeport.
Funeral Service will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 3rd, 2022 at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport. Family will receive friends 1 hour prior to the service at the funeral home.
Rev. Paul Cantrell will officiate.
Bobby was born on December 17th, 1954 to Bobby Wayne and Sadie Deloris (Pugh) Bentley in Ft. Worth, Texas. Bobby worked as a truck driver and a heavy equipment operator for many years. He was united in marriage to the love of his life, Sherry Ann (Isenberg) Bentley in September of 1981 in Ft. Worth, Texas. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother, who will be missed by all that knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bobby Wayne Bentley, Sr. and Sadie Doty; and his brother, Douglas Bentley.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 41 years, Sherry Bentley; his daughters, Tracey Hofsiss and husband Chris, and Amanda Graves; his sons, Marcus Bentley and wife Annette, Daniel Bentley, and Michael Bentley and wife Karynna; his grandchildren; Tabitha, Rebecca, Natalie, Kaden, Kloe, Rylee, Masyn, Kelby, Falon and Denay; his great-grandchildren, Lily, Liam, Allie, and Ryfton; his siblings, Donna Yates, Len Armstrong, Sara Yates, Amanda Hunter, and Angela Perez; numerous extended family members and a host of friends.
