Bonita J. Alaniz, 66, of Azle, Texas went to be with our Lord Friday, January 27, 2017 in Weatherford, Texas.
Funeral is 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Boyd with burial in Azleland Cemetery in Azle, Texas. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
Pastor Victor Sullivan will officiate. Pallbearers include Russell Cole, Kenneth Cole, Steven Ballejo, Billy Fowler, Phillip Dooley, and Brandon Lyles.
Bonita was born on February 21, 1950 to Joe Ben and Thelma Mae (Wood) Darter in Fort Worth, Texas. Bonita worked for Tandy Electronics as an Assembly line leader for many years. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to many. She had a Christian background growing up which followed throughout her life.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brothers, Joe Arvin Darter and Joe Ben Darter.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her Daughters: Candy Gail Prezas of Corpus Christi, TX, Sandy Annette McCauley and Husband Roger of Azle, TX; Her Grandkids: Victoria Alaniz of Corpus Christi, TX, Craig McCauley of Tulsa, OK and Joseph Prezas of Corpus Christi, TX; Her Great Grandson Joshua Perez of Corpus Christi, TX; Her sisters: Janie Hughes of Cleburne, TX, Doris Cole of Ft. Worth, TX, Deann Fowler and husband Johnny of Ft. Worth, TX, Mary Collins and husband Mike of Azle, TX and Sandra Darter of Ft. Worth, TX; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
