Bonnie Joyce (Watson) Green

Bridgeport ~ Bonnie Joyce Watson Green, 87, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Bridgeport.

Funeral is 10:30 a.m. Thursday, December 28, 2017 at Pleasant View Baptist Church in Bridgeport with burial in Thomas Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Wednesday at the church.

Rev. Gary Demmitt will officiate. Pallbearers include Jarrod Montford, Brian Whaley, Lance Morrow, Rodney Morrow, Cason Jordan, Mason Jordan, Lukas Barber, and Wendell Wiggins. Honorary pallbearers include Kaleb Cook, Parker Cook, and James David Green.

Bonnie was born on February 21, 1930 to Oscar Raymond and Roxie Gladys (McGuire) Watson in Crafton, Texas. She was united in marriage to Robert “Bo” Green on July 17, 1948 in Bridgeport, Texas. Bonnie was a member of Pleasant View Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Bo Green; and her sister, Mary Reasoner.

Those left behind to cherish her memory are her daughter, Elizabeth Montford and husband David of Bridgeport; her son Clayton Green and wife Debbie of Bridgeport; daughter Karen Cook of Bridgeport; her daughter, Juanita Mundy and husband Von of Flower Mound; her grandchildren, Katie Whaley and husband Brian, Jarrod Montford and wife Cassie, Jennifer Green, Lance Morrow and wife E.J., Rodney Morrow and wife Angie, Cason Jordan and wife Nicole, Mason Jordan, Kaleb Cook, Parker Cook, Kelsey Barber and husband Lukas, and Hanna Mundy; her great grandchildren, Brennen, Lane, Zane, Makane, Roston, Ryder, and Palmer Joy Lou; her sisters, Lois Morrow of Bridgeport, and Reba Nell Leake and husband Jack of Decatur; her brothers, Leon Watson and wife Linda of DeSoto, and Harold Watson and wife Dorothy of Bridgeport; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
