Bonnie Meador Holland

Funeral service is 2 p.m. Saturday, October 12th at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home with Reverend Jerry Miller officiating. Interment: Sweetwater Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.

Pallbearers include Bill Adams, Don Singleton, David Meador, Craig Jackson, Curtis Anderson, and Jim Gage.

Bonnie was born December 10, 1940 in Decatur, Texas to Floyd D. and Margaret Elizabeth (Caraway) Meador. She was united in marriage to Steve Holland on February 21, 1960 at the Fundamental Baptist Church in Decatur. Bonnie was a graduate of Decatur High School. Bonnie loved to travel with friends and family and she loved being at the Meador family gatherings.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her husband of 53 years, Steve Holland; son, Kirk Holland; daughter, Dawn Downe and husband, Mark all of Decatur; three granddaughters, Staci Downe and Alexis Downe of Decatur and Crystal Rodriguez of Bridgeport; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Dorothy Lambert of Boyd and Joyce Rich and husband, Curtis of Paradise; four brothers, James Meador and wife, Evelyn, Wiley Meador and wife, Suzette, Donald Meador and wife, Barbara, and Roy Meador and wife, Linda all of Decatur; mother-in-law, Juanita Holland; sister-in-law, Pam Holland both of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Vera Moore and Bobbie Stone both of Decatur.
