Brad Landen

Alvord ~ David Bradley Landen, 38, of Alvord, a loving husband, father, son and brother, went to be with our Lord Thursday, December 21, 2017 in Chico, Texas.

Funeral is 2:00 p.m. Friday December 29, 2017 at First Baptist Church in Alvord with burial in Alvord Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Bridgeport.

Rev. Bill Cleveland will  officiate. Pallbearers include John Littlepage, Zac Hale, Brad Malone, Michael Scharen, Brian Scharen and Terry Scharen.

Brad was born on December 17, 1979 to Edward Gillespie and Brenda (Landen) in DeRidder, Louisiana. He was united in marriage to Nichole (Scharen) August 8, 2009 in Alvord, Texas. He currently worked at Pierce Riverside Glass as a Glazier. Brad and his family were members and attendees at First Baptist Church in Alvord, Texas.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather Dennis Landen, grandparents Odell and June Gillespie and mother in-law Bev Scharen.

Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife Nichole Landen of Alvord; his children, Adyson, Hannah and Krasch of Alvord; his parents, Edward and Brenda Gillespie of Alvord; his grandmother, Faye Landen; his aunt, Vickie Landen of Pitkin, LA; his father in-law Kelly Scharen; his sisters, Susan Littlepage and husband John of Alvord, Dana Hale and husband Zac of Decatur; his 3 nieces and 2 nephews. numerous extended family and a host of friends.
