Decatur: Bradford Collins, 67, a carpenter, passed away April 10, 2008 in Fort Worth.
Memorial service is 10 a.m. Monday, April 14th at the Coker-Hawkins Chapel with Mark Davie officiating. Family will receive friends from 4 to 6 Sunday at the Coker-Hawkins Funeral Home.
Brad was born June 25, 1940 in Leake County, Mississippi to Lois and Mary Louise Collins. He married Wanda Taylor on October 11, 1972 in Waxahachie, Texas, and was married for 35 years until her death in December, 2007.
Survived by his 4 daughters, Debbie Swalah and husband, Bill, of Burleson, Alta Moreland and husband, Lonnie of Nacadoches, Kathy Diffie and husband, Ricky of Azle, Connie Smith and husband, Gary of Newark; 2 sons, Raymond Collins and wife Fran of Decatur, Mike Davis and wife, Penny of Joshua; 15 grandchildren; 16 great grandchildren; 1 sister, Hilda Alderman and husband, Everett, of Carthage, Missouri; best friend, Cliff Fine of Decatur; numerous nieces, nephews, and a host of friends.
Brad was preceded in death by his wife, brother, James Collins and grandson, Rickey Stapp.
