Princeton~ Brent Kenneth Kay, 64, went to be with our Lord on Saturday, June 11, 2022 in Dallas, Texas.
His funeral Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, June 16, 2022, at Hawkins Funeral Home Chapel in Bridgeport with burial to follow in East Bridgeport Cemetery. The Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Rev. Jim and Laurie Barker will officiate. Pallbearers are to include, David Scott, Tom Cowlishaw, Jeremy Cowlishaw, Steve Howard, Bob Montgomery, and Doug Bowyer.
Brent was born on November 12, 1957 to Eli and Rosemary (Hussar) Kay in Bakersfield, California. He was a sales and marketing representative with Frontier Communications. Brent was united in marriage to the love of his life, Rebecca (Scott) Kay on June 9, 2007 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. He loved spending time with his family and friends, particularly his best friend, Piper, his beloved miniature Aussie. Brent enjoyed music and was a classically trained guitarist. He loved to play the guitar every chance that he could. Brent was a loving husband, son-in-law, brother-in-law, and friend to many.
He was preceded in death by his parents Eli and Rosemary Kay; his brother, Greg Kay; and his father-in-law, Al Scott.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 15 years, Becca Scott Kay of Princeton, his mother-in-law, Ann Scott of Bridgeport; his brother-in-law, Dr. David Scott and wife Karen of Corpus Christi; his best friend and companion, Piper, and a host of good friends.
