Decatur ~Brian Richard Thompson, 59, went to be with our Lord Sunday, April 26, 2020 in Decatur.

Graveside is 11:00 a.m. Saturday May 2, 2020 at Oaklawn Cemetery. Family will receive friends 5-8 p.m. Friday, May 1, 2020 at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur.

Rev. Chris Wann will officiate. Brian was born July 4, 1960 to John Richard and Janice Lavon (Mangham) Thompson in Shreveport, Louisiana. He was united in marriage March 23, 2012 to Rhonda Earlene Britton in Decatur, Texas. Brian was a computer programmer for American Airlines and a member of Community Church.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Rhonda Thompson of Decatur; his parents, John and Janice Thompson of Keller; his brothers, Mike Thompson of Keller, and Jeff Thompson and Naoko of Toyko, Japan; his daughters, Valerie Thompson of Arlington, Savannah Thompson of Denton, and Lindsey Richey and Sherrod of Chico; his granddaughters, Averie and Cambrie Richey; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and a host of friends.

Memorials can be made to the Community Church Food Pantry in Decatur, Texas or to the charity of your choice.
