Decatur ~ Brigida Lozano de Treviño, 92, went to be with our Lord, Tuesday, February 25, 2020 in Denton, Texas.
Funeral is 10:00 a.m. Saturday, February 29, 2020 at Assumption of the Blessed Virgin Mary Catholic Church in Decatur. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Friday at Hawkins Funeral Home in Decatur with Rosary at 7 p.m.
Rev. Reehan Antony will officiate. Pallbearers include Rene Guía, Eric Keefer, Evan Keefer, Gabriel Guía, Rachael Rivas, Samuel Powers, and Matthew Powers.
Brigida was born October 08, 1927 to Nicanor and Micaela (Morales) Lozano in Doctor Gonzalez, N.L., Mexico. She was united in marriage to Pedro Trevino on December 28, 1956 in Monterrey, Mexico. Brigida was a church member of Assumption Catholic Church in Decatur. She was a quality control supervisor for Decatur Glass Works and retired from Haggard Slacks in Bowie as a seamstress.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 55 years, Pedro Trevino; 3 sisters; and 5 brothers.
Those left behind to cherish her memory are her 4 daughters, Lupe Guía and husband Antonio of Decatur, Leticia Keefer and husband Alvin of Runaway Bay, Lenore Trevino of Dallas, and Maria Powers and husband Daniel of Carrollton; 7 grandchildren, Rene and Gabriel Guía, Rachael Rivas, Eric and Evan Keefer, Samuel and Matthew Powers; 7 great-grandchildren; and 1 sister, Guadalupe Cantu; numerous nieces, nephew, and a host of friends.
