San Antonio ~ Walter “Bug” Hilton formally of Alvord, 39, a superintendant, went to be with our Lord Monday, July 13, 2015 in San Antonio.
Graveside service is 11:00 p.m. Friday, July 17, 2015 at Greenwood Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Coker-Hawkins funeral home.
Rev. Mark Jones will officiate. Pallbearers include Chad Davis, A.J. Meloni, Jerry Taylor, Mick Taylor, Chris Smith, Wayne Meadors, Matt Louderbach, Trey Diaz, John Alvarado, and Wade Jones.
Bug was born on June 19, 1976 to Leon and Sharon (Taylor) Hilton in Bowie, Texas. He was united in marriage to Mary Mika Huey on April 18, 2006 in San Antonio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Those left behind to cherish his memory are his wife of 14 years, Mika Huey-Hilton of San Antonio; his daughter, Brooklynn Hilton of San Antonio; his son, Keith Hilton of San Antonio; his step-daughter, Ray-Ann Truesdell of San Antonio; his grandson, Hunter Orluk of San Antonio; his brothers, Gary Hilton of Alvord, and Buddy Hilton; his sisters, Amy Rice of Beaumont, and Tina Smith of Paradise; his father-in-law, J. David Huey of Decatur; his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Melanie Jones and husband Mark; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and a host of friends.
