Boyd ~ Bunita Maryland Woods, 86, a homemaker, went to be with our Lord Tuesday, February 5, 2013 in Boyd.
Graveside service is 2 p.m. Thursday, February 7, 2013 at Boyd Cemetery. Family will receive friends 6-8 p.m.Wednesday at Christian-Hawkins Funeral Home in Boyd.
Rev. Mark Autry will officiate.
Bunita was born on February 27, 1926 to Arthur and Mary (Phillips) Stevens in Cottondale, Texas. She married William Mitchell Woods on December 26, 1942 in Decatur. They were married 69 years when he passed away in 2012. Bunita was a member of the Keeter Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Ricky Fritz Woods and wife Cindy of Boyd; her granddaughters, Heather Woods, Courtney Etter and Danielle Foster; her great granddaughter, Austin Etter; other family members and a host of friends.
